Farmland
Farmland, a series of large-scale photographs, was created in the Ontario Greenbelt; 1.8 million acres of permanently protected green space, agricultural land, communities, forests and wetlands in Ontario, Canada. The subjects in the work are migrant workers, immigrant farmers and female farmers who live (permanently or temporarily) in this diverse region. The images speak to displacement (cultural, physical) through these individuals who are often overlooked and underrepresented in this social landscape.
