Harbinger
Harbinger is a series of large-scale photographs comprised of individuals in liminal states, often in mid-speak, midgesture. These works explore the interaction between the aging body and the landscape; both physical and psychological. The conceptual underpinnings of the work revolve around an interest in the suspended space that exists between binary oppositions such as life and death, reality and fiction, the historical and the contemporary, body and other, and pleasure and pain.
